40 year old grom- just really found surfing in the past few years and it has consumed who I was and I've become someone new, better..a surfer. I mostly longboard, but would love to surf everything if I could. I am married and have two kids who both love the ocean. My 5 year old surfed this past summer and is itching to get back into it this year. My 3 year old daughter boogie boards and is the best on the indo board of the family! Big fan of Allan Weisbecker- go check his sites out.

| Recently..built my wife a longboard skateboard- very surfy feel with hibiscus flower designs, built the family a cool indo board, started a blog (see my web links), refurbed a 9'4" WRV longboard with Allan Weisbecker inspired graphics on the deck (see my flickr account link above), write a regular column in a local print magazine that is focused on surfing in my region. Next projects- building my own board- shaping, glassing, etc. Thinking of a short longboard shape- maybe 8 feet. Working on some surf inspired art, mostly painting. And oh yeah- a major project for 2008 is to hang ten! |
